Seattle engineered a stunning fightback to defeat the Rams in overtime, securing their place in the NFL play-offs.

Rallying from a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seahawks emerged victorious 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight win.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a playoff spot earlier on game day, the Seahawks secured their place to the postseason after a two-year absence.

With this result, the Seattle have taken over their Conference standings with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 standing.

Game Highlights

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the tying score to wideout Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Walker broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.

Los Angeles defensive back Wallace then took back Darnold's first interception for a big return, setting up a one-yard score by Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua pushed the advantage to 30-14, but Rashid Shaheed provided the comeback with a spectacular return for a score.

Darnold then connected with AJ Barner in the end zone, and a successful two-point play sent the contest into overtime.

Although Nacua scored for his another touchdown in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the decisive conversion.
