The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers developing firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.
Given many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many previous official descriptions mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Mega Medicham
Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Gemini.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
The Crab is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a intense symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its center out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a performance, even if for aliens.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign known for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected across this creature's entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to worry more about others.
Scorpio – Mega Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through pure hatred and vowed revenge on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Archer personally, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.
Capricorn – Super Absol
Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently believe they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
