Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The influential game designer died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This is a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
